Shelby Ranch Riding Lessons
Shelby Ranch offers lessons for every kind of learner. Beginner & Intermediate, aged 2 to senior. Riding Lessons are in a indoor arena, relaxed environment and safe and patient horses.We teach the basics of western horsemanship from safe ground handling to all around control riding. Shelby Ranch horses are safe and well-mannered, and we keep the lessons fun - often working outdoors, on trail or western performance patterns and games. $35 per lesson VIP Shelby Ranch Do you have a love for horse’s? Want to get back in the saddle? This is the VIP Shelby Ranch all access pass! You get to join a lesson, ride alone or ride with a friend! Saddle Up twice a week or bring a friend to purchase the all access VIP Shelby Ranch pass and you both get to ride three times a week or the price of two. $200 plus hst per month. Therapeutic Riding Program What Is Therapeutic Riding? Equestrian therapy can help enhance the physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive skills of persons with disabilities. Therapeutic Riding is a form of therapy that makes use of horses to help promote emotional growth. How It Works? Each child is paired with one of the Shelby Ranch program horses. With help from a qualified team of instructors & volunteers, children experience the joy of riding. During the one hour program session, children complete a series of exercises that are designed to help them improve strength and coordination, increase flexibility and learn about horseback riding. Children develop a bond with their horse and are able to achieve things they never thought possible. Benefits
Pony Pals Parent and Tot can enjoy the fun and amazement of spending time with ponies in an age appropriate environment. Children will get to make a craft, story time, hang out with the animals from our petting farm and go for a pony ride! This program is designed to spark imagination, and experience animals in an up close and personal setting. Adult Learn To Ride Looking for a hobby? Looking to meet new people? Want to relax and do something physically active?! Adult learn to ride might just be for you. If you are a beginner rider or have just been away from the saddle for awhile this program is for you! Adult learn to ride meets once a week and this program is built around joining together with others of common interest in a relaxed environment. Gain confidence and see if you want to simply ride for enjoyment or if you want to pick a direction and work towards a goal. |
