She's the Queen B. The boss mare of her herd. And "strong personality" is the understatement of the century. Ruby is the ring leader in all mischievous behaviour. If something is happening.... she started it. If someone escaped...she planned it. If there's trouble...she approved it.
Yes, she was also the mastermind behind the great pumpkin incident. Breaking out of her field and helping herself to the neighbour's pumpkins...right off their deck. Nothing quite like the embarrassment of your horse eating a small child's pumpkin display. She's a little steam engine full throttle, all heart, and absolutely convinced she runs this ranch (and honestly...she kind of does). Rocky
Percheron, Gelding
Our gentle, caring giant. Rocky is the definition of steady. Easy going, Laid back. Unbothered. He doesn't get excited, doesn't step out of line, and never gives his humans any sass. A true gentleman through and through. Now....Ruby might set him up from time to time, he's a follower and she's definitely the instigator. But even then, Rocky just goes along for a moment and then settles right back into his calm, cool, collected self. When his feed kicks in, you might see a tiny burst of friskiness a quick little " I feel good" moment then just like that... he's back to being solid as a stone. His name couldn't be more fitting.
